But here's what has been happening in the spark notes version....
Mom and Nana came to visit for fall break and we had a lot of fun! Just as a warning, I'm super tired right now, so if this post doesn't make complete sense, than I apologize ahead of time. I'm also only really going to give a few sentences about each place since I'm trying to cover a lot in a single post...
Mom and I went to Perugia for Eurochocolate which was in short, a chocolate lovers' dream! Then the next day, mom, nana and I on a cruise around Greece and Croatia! Greece was amazing!! We started in Venice and from there went to Bari, Italy, Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Katakolon, and finally ended up in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
here is a picture of our cruise ship...

EUROCHOCOLATE
They had every single kind of chocolate imaginable! Chocolate salami, chocolate spaghetti, chocolate covered fruit, chocolate cake, hot chocolate, EVERYTHING!
Here are some Bacio chocolates that are produced in Perugia...
BARI
Small little town on the heel of Italy... I wouldn't necessarily return to Bari because I didn't think there was much there. Then again, we didn't go outside of the little city area, so I'm sure there is a lot more to offer right outside the city... We took a little tour around the city, so I feel like I got the gist of it and all...

CORFU
In Corfu, mom and I decided to rent a car for the day. We drove around the city and everything! The water was soooo blue and so incredibly gorgeous...

SANTORINI & MYKONOS
Santorini is the typical part of Greece that is shown in the movies... There are a bunch of little white houses on the cliffs that overlook the ocean... so beautiful! In Santorini, we rode donkeys up the hill, which was quite the experience! We were just in Mykonos for a few hours at night, so we went out to dinner at a cute little restaurant off of a little side street... I'm bummed that we didn't get to see Mykonos during the day, because I'm sure the island is beautiful. I think Santorini was definitely my favorite island of Greece... it would be so easy for me to live there...

KATAKOLON
Katakolon was basically a small little farm town. We decided to be adventures in Katakolon, so mom and I rented a motorcycle. Yes, a motorcycle. Neither one of us has ever driven one so it was quite the adventure...

ATHENS
Athens was the last place we went to in Greece. It was cool to see the Acropolis and the Parthenon, but other than that, the city seemed very industrial... There were a few cute streets, but those seemed like they were totally geared for the tourists. FILLED with Tzachkies in every nook and cranny... It was cool to go to Athens though so I could see certain statues that I have learned about in several art history classes.

DUBROVNIK, CROATIA
I looooved Dubrovnik. It was kind of a chilly day, but the city itself was GORGEOUS. We walked along the fortress walls of the old part of the city, and everywhere I looked I saw more and more beautiful views...

PRAGUE
This past weekend, I went to Prague with a student travel group from Florence. It took us 13 hours to get from Florence to Prague... sooo long. In that same amount of time, i could've gone from Los Angeles to Florence by PLANE! Oh well, it was all totally worth it. Prague is hands down one of the most beautiful cities I have EVER seen! Every street I walked down looked like it belonged in a movie. I kept thinking that I was walking down Main Street in Disneyland because everything looked SO PERFECT! I LOVED IT! It was also really fun to go out at night because so many people around my age went out as well, whereas in Florence, people my age go out to the same bars that some creepers go to as well so it's not as much fun. The first night we went out to a 5 story dance club which is the biggest music club in central europe... the place was massive! Each floor had a bar in one room and then a dance floor in another. It was a really cool setup because if you wanted to just dance, you could and if you wanted to sit down and talk with people and be able to hear them, you could do that as well. That night we met some British guys who were really fun to hang out with! That night I also had my first shot of Absinth which is known to be a creativity stimulator because it supposedly makes you hallucinate. I didn't feel those effects at all, but it was still cool to try that out... They lit the Absinth on fire, and then covered it, and repeated that process. I then drank the hot absinth and then sucked the remaining fumes through the straw... really interesting process... Then the second night, I went to a pub crawl where I paid 13 euros for the entire night and we went to 4 bars/clubs. the first one was power hour which meant we got unlimited beer, absinth shots, vodka & fanta shots, and rum & coke shots for a full hour... crazy stuff. It was really cool though because everyone who went was around my age. I met people from Australia, England, Germany, Czech, Holland and other people from America... really cool people. Anyway I would easily go back to prague in a heartbreak. such a fun weekend!

I will try to update more often... hope everyone is doing well! ciao!
